of course, any user that knows of the context in which the
message was posted may use it in a malicious manner - but it
is not documented around it.. for example, the following lines
  were:

---
<Quick> oops
<Quick> the thing has only been out for a couple days and its hacked
<RedNivek> ???\
---

the user "RedNivek" had no idea what it meant :) there was no mention
of the utility "palmpass" in the entire log, so it may have meant
  anything.

it is open to interpretation - i gave up the "warez" issue a long
time ago Constatine, and you KNOW they love to attack your programs.
(as well as mine).. just stop feeding them..

without the knowledge of "palmpass" and the utilities that the
#palmwarez group has developed, it has no meaning. :) everyone has
a right to free speech, and it is just text. you may have a case
with "Quick" as he acknowledges that it is a "crack" by saying

"the thing has only been out for a couple days and its hacked"

it gives his statement context :)

you should however contact "palmlife" and ask them to prepare
a filter in the IRC logs that removes all palmpass codes - or,
not log the palmchat discussion forum at all

the bottom line is - forget about it. you are wasting more time
trying to fight it, and you are loosing money because you could
  be writing more programs. :)

  thats just my 2c.

  cheers.

az.
