It is fairly straightforward to display BMP images to the screen of the Palm Computing (r) device, provided your image fits on the screen and is uncomplicated. Loading them onto the device means you have to write a custom conduit to do that. For sample code I'd suggest going the 3Com web site and looking under "signature', since what you are trying to do is equivalent to, but the reverse of, collecting signatures on the device and uploading them to the PC. There is sample code available to show you to do this somewhere (because I was greatly helped by it), but I don't remember where. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Date: 24 Dec 1999 23:50:29 -0800 >From: Hitesh Patel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: [Re: How to transfer bitmap images to the palm device and how to >display them on the device?] >Hi, >My problem is that my application is such that I have to download images >dynamically from the desktop according to the data entered by the user, so I >cannot make bitmap resources in my resource file.So the solution of pasting >images from my favourite paint program into the Constructor will mot work. >So what I want is that the image should get downloaded to the device when the >user synchronizes with the desktop.
