Ok... Solved (for my particular case, anyway):
Problem: CW R6 IDE reports "Unable to find 'BDWM' registry entry" when
attempting to debug with the POSE emulator.
Solution: Remove "idriveproxy.exe" task from loaded processes. It interferes
somehow with the CW IDE's loading of the debugger plugin. "iDriveProxy.exe"
is installed ONLY if you are using iDrive.com services "iDriveSync". (Use
TaskManager to end the process, or uninstall the idrive desktop software).
"These 2 applications do not play well together!"
I hope that this information is useful to other. Maybe Metrowerks can
download and install the idrive desktop software so identify who/what is to
blame for these types of situations.
PS: I'm sure that "iDrive" is not to blame for all the BDWM problems, but it
is an indication that the error can occur when there are conflicting
processes loaded.
