customizing font

Hi All

First of all let me thank everyone who responded to my previous questions.

We need to make use of FntDefineFont(...) to use our own font.
I want to know how do we create a custom font, is it a resource file. if so
how do we create that file. It  would better if a example on this is
provided to make it more clear.
