As one datapoint, here are the latest numbers for Crosswords 3.0,
which is available in English and German on PalmGear. Note that
Crosswords is free, and a game, so YMMV.
The German version was posted a month or so after the English one, and
never got the front-page time that accounts for a significant
percentage of the English version's numbers.
I ask that users register Crosswords via picture postcards. My vague
impression is that a larger percentage of English-speaking users have
done so that German, but I'm not about to count all the cards to
confirm.
