Try intercepting the keypress and not passing it along to SysHandleEvent()...
I don't know if this method has the dev-support blessing, but its how I've done
it on ocassion in my own applications.

Hi,
I have an application that uses the up and down hardware buttons. However, I
want to _not_ have them click when they are pressed. Is there a way to stop
this?
