Hi, I have a text field, and the entry will normally be one of a number (50 - 100) of pre-defined alternatives. Once the first letter is entered (from the graffiti area) I'd like to pop up a list with the suggested completions. The user should then have two options a) select one of the completions from the list b) continue entering text from the graffiti area (and possibly not use one of the pre-defined alternatives) The problem with a popup list is that the form's event handler doesn't receive characters from graffiti. A normal list doesn't really work either, because there's no save behind and it would need some tricky event handling to clear it when it's no longer needed. Am I off the beaten track here, or is there a standard way to do what I want? Dave Maclay
