I'm guessing this is a read-only field? You could implement "tap scrolling"
-- every tap on the field scrolls it one field width. When at the end, a tap
cycles back to the beginning. How about that?

I have a single-line field which sometimes contains data that is too long to
fit and is thus displayed truncated. Does anyone have a clever UI technique
for allowing the user to somehow see the full content of this field? I
suppose that horizontal scrolling is a possibility, but then I'd have to add
left & right scroll arrows, etc. Any other ideas?
