Hi, I'm new to CodeWarrior/Palm/POSE and having trouble getting started.
CodeWarrior for Palm Computing platform, release 6. Running on Win98. POSE
is version 2.1d29 using palmvii-dbg-85.rom ROM.
Have POSE running and project built. In CodeWarrior I click Project->Debug
I get following message ONLY if I had earlier launched POSE from within
CodeWarrior (from the Palm->Launch Emulator menu):
The debug helper app could not be found.
The registry key, "BCWM", is not defined.
OK
I do not get this error (sometimes, usually, maybe) if POSE is open before
CodeWarrior starts or if I open POSE manually, outside of CodeWarrior.
If I have POSE running and then open CodeWarrior and my project, and then
click Project->Debug, I get the following error:
"UIAppShell" (unknown version) reports "DataMgr.c,
Line: 2463, Records left locked in closed
unprotected DB". if this is the latest version
of "UIAppShell", please report this to the
application author.
CONTINUE DEBUG RESET
Clicking Continue seems to be OK -- I can continue with my project. Debug
freezes the emulator and I usually have to shut everything down and restart.
Clicking Reset invokes another message that UIAppShell has just written
directly to memory.
Any help greatly appreciated.
