Words to the wise:

1) don't assume the LCD controller that's driving the screen will always be
the one on the Dragonball.  (In particular, notice that the dragonball LCD
controller doesn't support color...)

2) test your register tweaking apps against the 'color device' in Poser and
Palm OS 3.5.
