The verison of the HostControl.h file I was getting was from CW6, which does
not have the trap defined. Perhaps a bug for the CW6 header file
maintainers...
TI'll switch to the version that came with the emulator, where it is indeed
defined. Or better yet, check for the 'pose' feature as you suggested in a
later email.
Thanks for your help.

In Poser 3.0a3 and all previous versions, sysTrapHostControl is defined in
HostControl.h, right above where HOST_TRAP is defined.

Subject: Where is sysTrapHostControl defined
I'm trying to write code that figures out if I am running on the emulator or
not. The include file that comes with the emulator, HostControl.h, has
declarations for just the function I need: HostID HostGetHostID (void);
Trouble is, that devolves to a trap, sysTrapHostControl, and I cannot find
the trap definition anywhere in the emulator sources or in the System
headers.
Anyone know where I can find the definition, or failing that, what the trap
number is?
