My apologies. I may have misunderstood the problem since it mentioned a 5.3,
and there isn't a 5.3 patch for R5. Can you also try clearing the debugging
cache (you can Purge it in the IDE Preferences->Global Settings). Does this
also happen when debugging the Palm OS SDK apps e.g. Beamer? I also assume
that your CodeWarrior for Palm R5 is the only CodeWarrior toolset on your
system, right? Let me know.
