Hi. I am new to this list and to palm pilot programming. I have recently bought a palm IIIx, and I would like to program something for it. My developement environment is Linux, plain command line. I have tried to search Palm's documentation pages, but I only found the SDK documentation, which AFAICS just shows the API and how to use it. The point is that I need more basic stuff. My ideal beginning example would be to get in a tar.gz file a makefile with a single .c file which outputs "Hello World", and which builds without problems. I have seen other makefiles like the one of plucker or jpilot, but to build a file they do like three or four steps appart from compiling, like some resource building, and I don't know what that is/means. What's the order to build things, why is it like that? If somebody has some URL from where I could learn this info, please tell me. BTW, at the moment I wouldn't like to join that 'pavillon' developer thing. It's too much paperwork for me to do, living in Spain, plus I don't know if I will just forget my intentions in about a week. Do the developers of that pavillon thing get the kind of documentation I am looking for? -- Grzegorz Adam Hankiewicz - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Gogosoftware - http://welcome.to/gogosoftware/ Windows 98 error: A bug free routine has been found!!! --- You are currently subscribed to palm-dev-forum as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
