If the addresses of the API calls are not fixed, how can assemblers and
compilers be built ? How can you make sure that an assembler or a compiler
which
works for a given version of OS will work for the following OS version ?

> Out of curiosity, for what purpose do you need this information?
I am trying (I am affraid that unsuccessfully) to understand how the Palm
platform works.
