I'm not sure when the last day is, but when you submit your app just make
it clear that you'd like to know soon (for example if you need to get a
plane ticket like Aaron) and you can expect a quick answer.
Also, don't worry if your app isn't polished and 100% finished - far better
to show what you've got than not to come at all. The "judge" is a
pushover, but don't tell him I said so :-)

They realize that. Don't worry, just show what you do have. The apps
don't need to be ready to ship, but rather to show what you're working on.
