But seriously, GCC and CodeWarrior are the primary (C and C++ language) development
environments for the Palm OS. You may also want to evaluate a few of the higher-level
tools that are available, such as forms-based packages. Perhaps if you described what
it is you'd like to develop, we could recommend a particular toolset?

No, but Symbol Technologies sells a Palm III based product with a built-in barcode
scanner, as well as larger more rugged-ized versions using the Palm OS.
