I'm surprised to hear you say that. I know of no such limitation, and I
regularly load databases far larger than 64k total.
On a pre-3.0 device, you might well have troubles with large databases, or
if you're out of memory you will... but in general this should work fine.
Perhaps the way the pdb or prc is being created has a bug. Try
investigating that first.
