The worst thing about putting the forum name in the subject is that it
confuses the subject formatter in many mailers when people reply to other
messages. You end up with useful subjects like:
Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re:
[FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] The real subject
This usually gets truncated to "Re: [FORUMNAME] Re: [FORUMNAME] Re:
[FORU..." in any sort of list display which is not very useful.
I just filter on the TO address and haven't had any problems.
