As an alternative (or merely an enhancement),
it would be nice if an app could recieve a
launch code or other notification that says
"clean things up, you're about to be deleted".
This capability could be used by hacks to remove
their prefs data, and by other programs to remove
databases they may have created that don't (for
some reason) share their creator ID. But most
importantly it could be used by any app or hack
that patches systraps so that they can remove
the patched address before the code that supports
it goes away!
