That was it. Thanks for your help. I don't know how it happened but
somehow my output temp file got set to "a.out" but of course the input
for palmRez was still looking for tmp.
Part of the problem was I had really done a LOT of work since the last
compile. I was expecting problems in the code so I didn't think to look
in the other places. Then when it became apparent that it couldn't be
just the code, I had completely forgotten what I had done in the project
settings that might have affected this. I looked and looked but
everything seem cool. But you got it right on. Thanks again for you
help.
