You mean like I do in LinkDirect, right? Source (under the GNU GPL) and
binary available from http://www.vmlinuz.org/palmos
The changes *do* persist after you leave LinkDirect, so you can run
LinkDirect once and all future connections will use the new setting, at
least until you change the default connection or any of its settings.
