yes John.. i am still awake :))
you should be able to do everything with the old GCC :)) - i have
successfully been able to get the header files organised so that
i have no problems compiling simple programs..
i have not tried the serial manager - but i see the header.. :))
i should have no problems. although bad - what you can do is
keep the same directory structure as the previous headers, and move
the extra stuff into the System/ directory.
it will find everything :)
my directory structure is as follows:
PalmOS3.5/Hardware/
System/
System/Unix
UI
i copied the PalmOptErrorCheckLevel.h into the root directory and
moved anything i needed (like LibMgr.h) into the System directory.
it works :) try it for yourself.. just download the new headers from
the palmdev area ;)
