Just by luck I have found one exception to this rule. If I happen to be
using RPN (a third party application available for download at Palmgear)
then it recovers just fine when my application's alarm window closes.
Memopad, calculator, the PalmOS application Launcher, and Backgammon
(another third party application) all crash and give a dead screen after
my alarm application screen goes away.
So now I have two questions...
1. What can I do to make my own program's alarm box be more kind so
that generic applications will recover when I am done displaying my
alarm notice?
2. What can I do to make my own program's more robust so that if people
have a non-kind alarm program running that I can still recover when
their application closes?
Thanks again,
derik
