Handling RTF documents

I have the opportunity to work on a project that would require translating
rich text format (rtf) documents on a Windows PC to Palm pdb's so they can
be read on the Palm.  Maintaining tabs, boldface, underline, italics,
superscripts, subscripts, etc would be required. Anyone tried this before?
