I had exactly the same problem.
I also tried these articles, and the behavior is the same as you have.
In addition, after I connect, I can PING the IP address given to the device
in RAS setup from my computer... (but from the palm to the PC the PING never
works).
But something very strange happens... I disconnect the palm device and the
PING to the device keeps working...
It's very confusing!
I am using PalmIII, NT Service pack 4.
Anybody knows how to help us?
