With a simple application you should be ok but be warned, Netlib uses up
about 32k of heap memory. If you use a lot of global variables or a large
static array you can easily run out of memory. I had to unpack a lot of my
old assembler 'save a byte here and there' tricks to get my globals down to
a point where my application would run with netlib.

Subject: netErrOutOfMemory on NetLibOpen?

Folks - I'm trying to test some stuff with setting NetLib interface options.

I'm using several Palms (Palm III and Symbol SPT1500), but every time I
call NetLibOpen in a very vanilla application (the CW Starter plus a few
lines of test code) I get netErrOutOfMemory.

These devices dial fine from the Prefs menu ... there should be plenty of
memory available.

What on earth am I missing here?

Thanks,
Ben
