Palm programmer and Win98 (or Win2000)

I am going to buy a new computer and it seems that all come preinstalled
with Windows 98.

Shall I require Win95 instead? Is there any snag with Win98 for a Palm
developer/user? I vaguely recall some people reported problems with POSE on
Win98 long time ago. Anyone with any problems now? Anyone without problems?

What about Windows 2000?
