On a related note to the previous post....

If I try to back up device (after a hard reset) the PalmDesktop software
re-installs the offending app automatically. This causes an immediate
crash so that again I need a hard reset. In short I can't get my old
calender data on palm without the offending program.

Where PalmDesk getting this old file. I have tried moving it to a new
directory but somehow it still finds it and installs it (causing an
immediate crash).

Though I have all my imporant appointments saved on the computer, there
is no way to get them back to the handheld device (where they are
actually useful).

Does anyone know how to prevent PalmDesk from trying to load that nasty
other application. For the moment I created a new user, but how to do I
transfer the calenders to the new user from the old user?

I am using the Windows software.
