on a 3.5 Debug ROM (DR4) i see this error: "DataMgr.c, line 5462: Err
insertion sort". however, i do NOT see the error on Non-debug 3.5 ROMs.
two of my users are claiming to see the same error (except line 4809) on the
3.3 Non-debug ROMs, and this is supposedly causing them problems.
what does this error mean? is the DmQuickSort routine saying that an
insertion sort would have been more optimal? if so, why in the world is it
causing Non-debug devices to crash in this case! or are my users fudging
and claiming they're using Non-debug when in fact they're using Debug on an
Emulator? or was this a bug in OS 3.3?
my code calls DmQuickSort, and the CW debugger shows stack trace with
DmQuickSort calling ErrFatalWhatever (i forget the full name offhand). in
the Emulator, pressing Continue works just fine. and no, just to clarify, i
haven't typo'd -- the Quick sort routine gives an error about an Insertion
sort.
