SysGraffitiReferenceDialog

Does anyone know how to detect that the user has pressed the lower right or
left graffiti area for poping up
the SysGraffitiReferenceDialog. If you add a Field-control it will do it if
it has the focus. I would like to do this without having a Field-control.
