I get that too, don't know the reason. But do you find that you need to
fully rebuild the project? In my case, just running the Make command again
(pressing F7) causes only the linker step to run, without error, which is
almost instantaneous. So I've just gotten in the habit of just whacking F7
twice to build. Still annoying though.
