Thank you for the reply, Roger.

The machine running Gremlins is a 400MHz PII with 128 Mb of RAM and an
Ultra ATA66 disc drive, fast enough for most trivial tasks, but not,
apparently for Palm programming.  I'll be sure to put an 8-way Sun on my
Christmas list next year.

Is there any point in trying to obtain the window handle of the currently
active window, determine if it's a list, if so close it, and then throw the
alert to the screen?

As an aside, is Palm planning to establish an official bug list?  Or am I
more likely to find bugs such as these in the Knowledge Base?
