Fair question. I had someone ask for a refund on an application. I
have a policy of giving refunds for anyone that is disasitisfied (or
the app does not fit their needs). This is just a good policy.
However, I had someone give be an obviously bogus request. I
suspected they just wanted to get the key then cancel the order plus
they cancelled the order within hours of getting the key. So, just
as an exercise, I wondered how one could combat that.
Well, unregistering someone is easier than registering them. I just
had a small bit of code, upon startup, that would check Hot Sync name
and give them an "unregistered popup", then return to the launcher.
This was just an exercise; I doubt that I will leave the code in the
app.
