3.0 and above support beaming. The sample app Beamer is the best place to start.

Hi All,
I have started working on Palm OS recently. I want to develop
an app which will communicate with the IR (Infra-red) port of my Palm V.
Does Palm OS 3.1 include necessary libraries? How can check if the
Palm OS 3.1 has those libs? Do I have to upgrade to OS 3.5?
Any free source code is available on IR communication?
Any help is appriciated.
