I know that setting the phone number of a network service within the Palm to 00 (Prefs
application > Network) causes the Palm to try to connect over the serial port. I
haven't successfully connected the Palm to NT through RAS. I didn't try very long.
Give us some pointer if you are successful.

advice on setting up a server to take RAS or PPP
connections from Palm devices like Palm V or
PalmVII. Symbol device (work with "stock" FreeBSD
or Linux, even Windows NT?)? Then any modem
suggestions for PalmV or PalmVII?
I am interesed in setting up a small LAN testing
