It seems as if the updates to the Launcher (i.e. addition of taic
resource) are causing unwanted side-effects on PalmOS 3.5. When I update
an application thru the Palm Install tool, the category of the application
is reset to Unfiled (when no taic resource is available). To me it would
be more logical that an application w/o taic resource would retain the
category as set by the end-user.

I did not notice the above when running PalmOS 3.5 on POSE. But since
reflashing my Palm V with PalmOS 3.5 (palmos-35-dr4-en-ez.rom) I saw the
above for my own application (CD List), as well as when I uploaded an
update to DiddleBug. I also lost a lot of categories when initially
restoring the information after reflashing the OS, but at that time I
thought nothing of it.

The above is reproducable on POSE, using PalmOS 3.5 roms, but not when
using previous roms. I am using prc-tools 2.0 for development, but a
previous version of my application (build using the GCC for Pilot 0.5.0
tools) has the same problem.

Anyone else experiencing similar problems ?

Regards,

Pepijn.
