But... being a "seeding developer" is open to everyone, with just a single
paper license required.  So unless you're in some company whose lawyers
have an issue with the license, you're perfectly able to get the seeded
software.

Sure it'd be nice if there didn't have to be a license, but given the state
of the legal system, there does have to be.  So you have to send a single
envelope to us; that isn't an unbearable calamity.

So, as far as I know, practically nobody has to be "stuck" with the 3.0
sdk.  If there's something that is preventing you from joining the program,
which I continually watch to make sure is an easy task, I'd be interested
to hear.
