Don't take this personally, but please stop using the developer forum for
this sort of message. Ever heard of signal to noise ratio?
(and the answer is because "const CharPtr" is not the same as "const char
*", it actually ends up being "char * const". (One means "a constant
pointer to non-constant data", the other means "a non-constant pointer to
constant data"))
