Hi,
I am running a stock Palm V OS (I think the OS is v3.0 or v3.1).
Also, why would a modal form incorrectly restore the screen?

you forgot to mention which OS.......
sounds to me like the modal form that popped up has not restored things
correctly.
i do not see this in any of my apps, on any OS.
probably not an OS bug.
