Instead of trying to create/delete buttons (especially because of the
problems reported by Andreas) why don't you dynamically draw or erase
controls that are always present on the form? For this use CtlDrawControl
and CtlEraseControl. Else, you might consider switching the usable
attribute of a control with CtlSetUsable.
