You can definitely do it and you don't need to muck with serial ports to
pull it off. There was a complete description of how to do it posted to
this forum a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure it can be retrieved from the
archives. If I can find it, I'll send it directly to you.

I would like the Palm OS and POSE people's opinion on this.
Is my analysis
essentially correct? Would it be possible to add a "direct
IP" service to
the network choices in the future? I have heard something
about an ethernet
cradle, which would imply a direct IP sync capability ...
but I don't see
how to configure a Palm device to use it.
