It means HwrBacklight is an unsupported API. Palm reserves the right to change,
deprecate, or remove the API at any time, without notice. Calling this API may
therefore impact certification of your software (specifically, w.r.t. your
application's compatibility with future versions of the Palm OS). If this is an issue
for your product, be sure to request an exception when submitting your software for
certification. They're pretty reasonable folks, especially considering we have not
provided a supported SysXXX-level API for this functionality.
