HotSync Manager polls each of the registered conduit dlls for their name.
The dlls are registered to the creator id. Does your application use the
creator id of one of the other apps on the Palm? You can look at the
registered conduits using CondCfg.exe which should be in the CDK\bin
subdirectory.

Subject: Changing name of the installing .prc file
Hi Everybody,
I was wondering if anyone can answer this question:
If I have a file "MyApp.prc" and I add it using the install tool and sync --
I get a hotsync status box saying:
1) "Installing handheld applications" -- and then
2) "Synchronizing [NAME OF MY APP]"
Then thing is: the file is called MyApp.prc and the name of the app in CW
Constructor is "MyApp", but the [NAME OF MY APP] in the second dialog box is
DIFFERENT from the two above.
My question is: where does Hotsync get this name???
Thanks in advance,
Yuri Yuryev
