I haven't seen these errors, but it sounds like the read-only attribute is
set on your target and settings files. These files are in the project's
"Data" folder and have extensions .tdt and .stg. In Windows, right-click
and select properties, then make sure read-only is not selected.

Steve

Hi ,
I tried opening the sample files for phone book ,Ultest but it is giving the

following errors.

1 . The settings file for project ultest.mcp/phbkultralite.mcp was
locked so some user settings will not be saved .
2. The data file for target phkbultralite/ultest was locked so build
data will not be saved .
3. The following access path in target cannot be found .
     project..\..\..\saeval\asa6\h
     palm os 3.0 support.
     project..\..\..\saeval\asa6\ultralite\palm\68k\lib

if i go to target settings and remove the user and system paths the error
number 3 is not coming .Is it right .
How to overcome the error numbers 1 and 2 .
Can anybody suggest on what is should to run these applications successfully

.
