Hearing about your activities from palm-dev-forum websites, I am pleased
to write to you.
I intend to start a R&D project on wireless and handheld devices
(e.g.,PDA) for security application such as e-commerce.
Very recently I have secured a year research grant (U.S.$ 2.4M) from a
large company. I hope that the current direction of your work will fit
into this project, so that you can participate in the grant providing
funding for joint research in an amount sufficient to cover your travel
expenses plus some funding for part of the research to be done by you. I
believe that international collaboration of this kind will benefit the
research by you. I sincerely look forward to working with you to make
our ideas a reality, or at the very least wish to continue our
correspondence about the technical issues involved, if you already have
a number of research commitments over the next couple of years. I would
like to know if you are interested in this invitation and hope to be
able to meet you in person when I visit the US within the next few weeks
if you are interested.
