Actually, I'm using the "Palm | Show Window" menu from the
IDE. I've had trouble with this in the past but was able
to use the 'hd 0' a few times. I'm not really sure when
(if at all) this is supposed to be useable. I've had equal
trouble with palmdebugger which seems to go out to lunch
often hiding the mouse cursor and eventually requiring a
vulcan nerve pinch (i.e. ctrl-atl-del) to either shut it
down or reboot. I'm using CW6 with the 3.5 SDK installed
and the palmdebugger from the corresponding misc tools
download.
Back to the original question... When should I be able to
use the 'hd 0' command? Should the debugger respond to
commands when POSE is displaying one of it's dialogs?
Should it respond when the IDE's debugger is running?
What's the relation between PalmDebugger and the one in the
IDE? Should I be able to use the "Show Window" window in
the IDE?
I've managed to track down the leak POSE detected so I'm no
longer interested in pursuing this. The lockups are really
bad for productivity. I am however interested in when the
"proper" procedures are in the event of a leak in the
future (God forbid!).
