This relates to a couple different threads that have been going on regarding the color swapping problem in the new version of Constructor. I understand that the developers are working on a fix for this, but for those of us who can't wait (and don't want to switch to a different OS!) PROBLEM : When editing an 8-bit (color) bitmap, then opening it again for editing, on some Microsoft OS's, the colors are sometimes mixed. WORKAROUND: When a bitmap comes up with the colors mixed (say you wanted brown and it comes back up as blue), find a pixel on the screen of the same color as the WRONG color that came up (say, blue). Now choose that same color as your foreground color, and paint over the incorrectly colored pixel. (It will change to your background color, usually white). Color over it again, and it will change back to blue. Now you can close the bitmap editor and bring the bitmap back up. The correct colors will be displayed in the bitmap. Now you can close and open the bitmap as much as you want, and the colors will stay the same. If you happen to need to modify any of the pixels, you will need to follow this process again.
