Nothing specific to suggest, except to turn off (or turn way down) the
optimization setting & rebuild. At the higher settings the debugger
sometimes has a hard time figuring out what source code it's executing.

Subject: Wierd Control Transfers

I'm running into cases when symbolic debugging where I hit a
breakpoint and go to step into a function, and two things happen:

-- I get the following on the CodeWarrior debugging log:

CmdGetRemoteRtnName: error in SlkReceivePacket = Buffer is too small.

CmdReadRemoteMem error: invalid response command.

-- Control gets transferred to a completely different function than
the one I just thought I was stepping into.

Does anyone have a clue as to what the message means? Does anyone
have any suggestions for figuring out this problem? Thanks in advance.

Mac OS9, Pose 3.0a5, 3.5 SDK, CodeWarrior R6
