Ok, I haven't seen anyone else bring this up so I'll bite the bullet and
bring up what may be a stupid question....
I have situations where I have created a form without the Save Behind box
checked in the constructor. When switching from one of these forms to
another, I have used FrmGotoForm and then for the form I am going to, on
the frmOpenEvent I have called FrmDrawForm .... this has worked just fine
all the way through OS 3.3 (at least it seemed to work on the Palm V
emulator).
On OS3.5 and on my new IIIc, one of the previous forms seems to be drawn
first then the second form drawn over it with the same code as described
above. This has the effect of having a screen that looks like it wasn't
erased and a new screen just drawn over the top of it..... now for what may
be the stupid question...
What happened? Is this a different way of doing things in OS3.5? I can make
the problem in 3.5 go away if I either (a) Check Save Behind on my
non-dialog forms or (b) don't call FrmDrawForm as a response to the
frmOpenEvent. If I do (b), the same PRC doesn't work on pre-3.5 OS
versions. Is this the right approach? Should I have been doing (a) all
along? Am I doing this completely wrong? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
