You can use the INet library programmatically - but you cannot do
generic TCP/IP operations. In other words, INet pretty much supports
Clipper and iMessenger, and that's it.
As for the 'Not support'... That's a Catch 22 for Palm. I have no
doubt that a lot of people at Palm wish that Inet.lib had never happened
and would love to phase it out ASAP. On the other hand, Palm is still
marketing a business case for Palm VII vertical usage. My guess is that
INet.lib will eventually get killed.

I am considering developing a prc that communicates to servers
using the Internet Library. This library supports the palm VII, and
also has calls to do what look like direct tcp communications.
My concern however, is that there is a note in the chapter which says
there may be no future support for the library.
Is this true?
Does this mean the only capability of the palm VII is to implement
PQA (HTML) applications, and it can't do tcp communications or even
http from C?
Any information would be GREATLY appriciated.
